Dunmow Flitch Friendship Club (DFFC) is a registered charity serving the Great Dunmow community and surrounding villages. We are a friendship group for residents aged 50 plus who would like to spend time in the company of others like them. We meet on the first Thursday of the month for a social evening with games and live entertainment and occasionally offer coach trips, parties and celebration events. Most of our activities take place at the Rowena Davey Centre in Dunmow, but you’ll also find us at local events such as Dunmow Town Carnival, where we raise money in support of our work. Club nights start at 6.30 p.m. and usually conclude around 9.00 p.m.
The charity is managed by our three trustees, with the support of our hard working committee members who host our club nights and organise the games and activities that take place.
Membership of the club currently costs £16 per year, which includes admission to our club nights. Guests can try the club before deciding whether to join, paying £3 on the door.
